How often should I have an eye test?
Most adults should have an eye test every two years, but we may recommend annual check-ups if you wear glasses, contact lenses, or have a family history of eye disease. Children and older adults often benefit from more regular testing.
What happens during an eye test at E Eye Place?

Do you offer children’s eye tests?

Can you help with dry or irritated eyes?
Absolutely. We diagnose and treat dry eye using evidence-based therapies, including warm compress therapy, lid hygiene, and nutritional support. Our optometrists can also identify underlying causes like Meibomian gland dysfunction.
Do you treat eye diseases or only provide prescriptions?
We do both. Our optometrists diagnose, monitor, and co-manage eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. We also collaborate with ophthalmologists when referral or surgical care is required.
Can I claim my eye test through Medicare?
Yes. Most routine eye exams are covered by Medicare, meaning there’s often no out-of-pocket cost. We can confirm your eligibility when you book.
